It is important to us for every trainee to get to know and learn their profession perfectly. This means learning by doing right from the start.
All of our trainees are directly integrated into their future workplace and get to know their professional environment, other departments and their colleagues from the very beginning. A fixed transfer plan ensures that they become familiar with adjacent departments, which gives them a better understanding of the tasks in their later professional life.
Alongside training, new talents are actively involved in “GEALAN Comes Together”.
They are a part of the GEALAN family and directly participate in all GEALAN recreational activities as members of the planning committee and by sharing their ideas.
It is important to us that young people feel included from the outset.
Our trainees are given exciting and varied tasks in different departments and special projects that match their learning progress.
Our goal is to encourage trainees to work independently and to promote their personal development.
Cross-departmental collaboration and getting to know our company from all angles is a key part of this concept. We foster teamwork between different professions and age groups in specific training projects.
Coming together, rising to the challenge and helping each other along the way are just three of the many points that our young colleagues positively understand.
We immediately integrate even the youngest apprentices into GEALAN’s trainee community.
Apprentices in later years of training become mentors who are contacts and role models alongside our HR assistant and current training officer.
They are there to answer our youngest team members’ questions and give them advice and support. WE make it a point to ensure that every trainee feels comfortable from the start and always gets the support they need.
